I grew up in Louisville, but moved to Minneapolis and Milwaukee after graduating from college. I spent six years in Evansville and recently returned to Louisville. While in college, I earned a B.A. in Business and a B.A. in German with a French minor. Afterwards, I undertook a year of studies at Eberhart Karls Universitaet in Tuebingen Germany. Later, I completed my Executive MBA at Bellarmine University.
Over the last several years, I've been invited to speak to our entire company at National Sales Meetings, I help to train new FindLaw consultants, and I present CLE's to enable attorneys to focus and/or improve their marketing strategies. Whether it's my colleagues or most importantly, my clients, I consult with them to enable them to unlock new opportunities to pursue their personal and professional dreams. This may sound like a different approach. It is...and it's demonstrably effective.
I work with over 40 firms throughout Kentucky. I approach each client relationship with a focus on two key issues: 1) understanding areas of strategic importance for the firm, and 2) defining which areas of law deliver the best revenue for the firm. While advertising is simply creating ways for clients to find you, marketing is the act of differentiating the firm from its competitors. Your Web-presence should be a revenue-generating component of your overall business plan. While this may sound somewhat intimidating, it really comes down to managing a few key variables to give your firm the best possible chance to secure high quality cases, in specific areas of law.
